I’m yarn frugal and even I bought $50 worth

Two quick notes:
- Little Knits is having a crazy yarn sale. I just bought 2 skeins of a beautiful Regia Mini Ringel in the Maid Marion colourway, and a skein each of Regia Surf in Bonbon and Sylt. My first socks! I picked strong stripes so I could knit jaywalkers. Jaywalkers! You have no idea how excited I am. I also bought Dale of Norway 126, which is famous for containing the Ingeborg pattern. Sexy.
- Austermann STEP sock yarn is also available. It contains Aloe Vera and Jojoba Oil, which lasts for 30 washes and makes your feet all pretty and nice. Seems a bit over the top, but I love anything science related so this blows my socks off, as it were. The oil is actually a wax treatment, but it’s still very soft. The wonders of technology! My only qualm is that they come in very weird outlined stripe patterns. I’d rather they were solids.

[...] I got these in the mail a few days ago. They’re the yarn I talked about in this post. They’re going to become my FIRST SOCKS! I’m excited. [...]
